EasyWare has worked extensively with some of the most prestigious companies in the world and our workers are available to take on a wide range of simple or complex software development projects around the world. We are available as consultants, contractors and to create bespoke software or customise existing ones.
We specialise in eCommerce; interactive TV, Web development and general software development.
Some of our recent clients include:

EasyWare worked with BBC's Interactive TV team in White City, London developing software for BBC's cable TV service. Our projects include BBC iPlayer and the multi-screen news service and the new Cbeebies application

EasyWare worked in the US and UK for Seachange (and it subsidiary company - Digital Video Arts) in building Video on Demand applications for the Seachange clients. Seachange's Video on Demand application powers several prestigious applications, including BBC's award-winning iPlayer on the cable TV platform.

Virgin Media came about as a result of the merger with NTL and Telewest - two organisations with which we worked extensively. Many of the applications we built are still being actively used by Virgin Media and we continue to work with Virgin Media on behalf of third party clients.

We helped to build many of NTL's interactive applications. NTL has since merged with Telewest to form virgin Media

We were part of the core development team on the Telewest(now Virgin Media) TVDrive project. The TVDrive (or Personal Video Recorder) project is the cable TV answer to SKY+. The project, located primarily in San Mateo, Atlanta (USA) and Woking (UK) involved working with Scientific Atlanta Set Top Boxes to deliver an application that would allow users to control live TV just as they would recorded content (i.e. pause, rewind, record etc).
This taks woas a collabaration between Telewest (Now part of Virgin Media), Scientific Atlanta and Liberate (now Seachange)

Our work with Telewest (now part of Virgin Media) primarily involved building client-side applications for digital TV. Some of the applications we built are:
EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) - this was the centrepiece of Telewest's digital TV offering. it is a fully-searchable listing of future programmes;
The Channel bar (the now-and-next bar that pops-up when the channel is changed);
Reminders application (gives the viewer the ability to save reminders for future programmes and customise the manner in which they were reminded of the programmes;
Favourites (allows the user to select and save favourite channels to which a number of special features can be applied); Parental control functions (including monitoring and password-locking of controlled channels) etc
Users of Virgin Media's TV service have access to these applications

We helped to provide end-to-end technical solutions for Liberate's digital TV clients. Our emphasis was on client-side applications, but we undertook server-side work as and when required.
Some of the clients we worked with are:
UPC, Amsterdam:
Helped to resolve urgent last minute issues that arose prior to their commercial deployment and training some of the developers.
Pixelpark, Cologne and Fast TV, Munich:
Assisted building the Iesy application. Core applications included: an e-mail client and server, Chat client and 'zapper' bar.
Gist, Frankfurt (Dec 2001-feb 2002): Assisted GIST in producing an alternate java-based EPG for the Iesy project.
